Speaking during the presentation of the Plan for Golf Events of the ITP, the Portuguese Institute of Tourism, the Minister stressed that these objectives for growth are plausible, according to current indicators. Lagoa Câmara has pledged to invest in the community and create a wheelchair friendly area. A document will be signed between the câmara and the Associação Portuguesa de Planeamento do Território, Portuguese association of land planning and the Rede Nacional de Cidades e Vilas com Mobilidade para Todos (REDE), the national network of cities and towns with mobility for all, in an effort to make the area more accessible for wheelchair users and elderly and pregnant pedestrians. |
