Tavira is intrinsically connected to the sea, as is its typical gastronomy.

This strong relationship is reinforced by the hosting of

the 5th Seafood Gastronomy Festival. Participating restaurants

prepare special menus and invite you to sample them during

this event. Visitors who allow themselves to be tempted by the

delicacies on offer also have the chance to win a weekend “near

the sea”.
