The fair will take place from 24th to 26th August at the Portimão Arena in the Parque de Feiras e Exposições. A source at the Portimão Municipal Council told the Algarve Observer that the model for the event would be similar to that of the "III Salão Erótico de Lisboa” which was a repetition of the experiences of Barcelona and Mexico City. The same source said that they were still waiting to hear about the stars who would be attending.

There were 80 exhibitors at the Salão Erótico de Lisboa, divided according to different themes, with a little bit of everything and for all tastes.

For open-minded couples there was even a “swing” area. With an intimate ambience and where it was forbidden to enter alone, this was an area for couples to swap or merely for exploratory contact.

For shyer women, who wanted to learn to explore their sexuality more intensively, there was an exclusive area to which men did not have access.

For its part and as in previous events, the Club Bizarre was one of the most popular places, devoted to sadomasochism.

There was also male and female strip-tease and the sale of novelties and items related to sex, as well as the latest films on DVD.

This is just a small sample of what can be experienced at Exposex in Portimão.
