The National Agency for the Cultural Científica e Tecnológica
(Scientific and Technological Studies), responsible for the Ciência
Viva (Living Science) is to promote on 7th August in Lagos, in the Fort
of Ponta da Bandeira, a session of nocturnal astronomical observation,
from 22.00 to 24.00hrs.
Entrance is free for anyone interested in knowing a little more about
the Universe, although the Centro de Ciência Viva advises prior
confirmation of the initiative due to the uncertainty of atmospheric
conditions, by calling the número azul 808 200 205.
"Astronomy in the Summer" is an initiative of the Ciência Viva and counts on the support of the Municipal Council of Lagos.
