How were the caravels built? and how was the food like on board?
These are some of the questions that are explored using the equipment and modulesa t the Lagos Centre for Living Science, which explores the scientific principles relating to the art of navigation in the 15th and 16th centuries. By means of replicas of different objects, interactive modules and experiments, visitors will be able to learn about the science relating to the great voyages of exploration carried out by the Portuguese starting from Lagos.
The Lagos Centre for Living Science will be operating on an experimental basis until it opens officially, scheduled for the end of January. During this period, some of the equipment will be in the process of being tested and adjusted, and for this reason admission will be free until the opening day.
