The Portugal Masters will be played from October 16 to 19. George O’Grady, Chief Executive of the European Tour said, "We are delighted to further develop our partnership. I know the players enjoyed the course and facilities at Vilamoura last year."

The Algarve-based company also announced that their comprehensive marketing activity around the Portugal Masters will include a special Pro–Am tournament to launch their two new Amendoeira courses, designed by six–times major winner and this year’s Ryder Cup captain, Nick Faldo and Irish legend, Christy O’Connor Jnr.

Oceanico will also embark on a TV and online marketing campaign to maximize their association with the Portugal Masters and the European Tour. The deal was announced at the KPMG Golf Business Forum at the Ritz Carlton, Powerscourt, Ireland where Gerry Fagan and George O’Grady were both guest speakers.
