Fado Maior at Quinta dos Vales
Quinta dos Vales, AlgarveOrganized by Lagoa Camera as part of the ALLGARVE 2011 programme, and performed by the Pechao Cultural Association, will perform on 20th May at 21:30 at Quinta dos Vales, Estombar a spectacular show called "Fado Maior", a tribute to fado. "Fado Maior" will feature some of the most significant poems of the Portuguese culture, including Camões, Eugénio de Andrade, O'Neill, Natália Correia, Florbela Espanca, Sebastião da Gama, António Gedeão, David Mourão Ferreira and many others.

"Fado Maior" is a great show of fate and poetry. Two hours of magic.

The musicians are Victor do Carmo, Jose Santana, and Tó Correia.

The admission tickets (8.00 €) are on sale at the Convent of S. Joseph, Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 h/14: 00h and 15:30 h/19: 00; on Saturdays in the Municipal Auditorium, from 15:00 and on Thursday the day of the show, on site from 18:00 h.
