The English singer is to perform in Albufeira in the Algarve, to sing some of the hits that made him famous worldwide. The British singer will be performing at the Herdade dos Salgados Resort in Albufeira on 1st August at 10 pm, joining names such as Joss Stone on 31st July, Maria Rita (with the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra) on 5th August and Mariza on 14th August. Maria Rita will be performing at the Hotel Grande Real Santa Eulália in Albufeira, while Mariza’s concert will be on the waterfront in Vila Real de Santo António.

Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, aged 46, is one of the key figures of contemporary soul music and his hits include “Kiss from a Rose”, “Crazy” and “Fly like an eagle”, some of the numbers that made his name worldwide.

Seal released six albums of original songs and won more than ten platinum discs all over the world.

In a partnership between the municipal councils, Turismo de Portugal, the Algarve Tourism Board and the hotels, Allgarve 2009 now has ten concerts scheduled for the summer in an attempt to ensure that there will be quality events during the period of highest hotel occupancy, with a bill full of stars.
