Quarteira is the town adjacent to Vilamoura.  
Still a fishing town there is a daily market selling fresh fish, It is 0 busy town with plenty of shops, restaurants and a weekly market selling all sorts. The beach is long and beautiful with on excellent promenade lined with shops and restaurants During the Summer the promenade is a lively spot, lots of entertainment is provided
