F1 Powerboat Grand Prix returns to the Algarve |
 The Arade river will be hosting great water sport events over the next two weekends, the Formula One PowerBoat UIM World Championship, on 8th and 9th May, and the Formula Future National Championship.This weekend, the National Championship of the Formula Future is taking place on the Arade river. Intended to have taken place last weekend, the event was postponed due to bad weather and is now being held one week prior to the F1 UIM PowerBoat World Championship.Duarte Benavente is the only Portuguese pilot in the Championship, representing the F1 Atlantic Team, and will be one of the 20 pilots competing in the first race of 2010, in what promises to be an action packed event, as always.
