The Superbike World Championship is a major international sporting occasion, this being the motor sport that attracts the third largest audiences, being superseded only by Formula 1 and MotoGP. The event attracts huge crowds, with large numbers of supporters coming from Spain. There has also been a definite tendency for these figures to keep increasing in recent years. This Championship is a truly global event, which tours the world’s leading circuits and involves important worldwide markets in motorcycling and consumer goods.
