Centre of Living Science of the Algarve re-opens
The International Day of the Oceans, which is commemorated on 8th June, has been chosen for the re-opening of the CCVA - Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve (Centre of Living Science of the Algarve), with the inauguration of the exhibition "The Sea".
This space, the first interactive centre for the scientific and technological divulgence of the network Ciência Viva (Living Science),
in operation since 3rd August 1997, appears now with a new image and a new permanent exhibition.

"The Sea" is the theme of this new exhibit, "which transports the visitor in exploration of the blue of the deep ocean, leading them to question the origin and the future of life".

"The exhibition covers diverse areas, from the evolution of the oceans to Biodiversity, passing through the Physical Sea to the Environment and also to economic aspects of human activity in the Sea", explain the management of the CCVA.
