The Jardim Manuel Bivar, in Faro, will be transformed into "the biggest
support centre" for the national football selections, announced the
Municipal Council of Faro.
During the European Under-21s, which will take place in
Portugal, and the Football World Cup, which will be contested in
Germany, a giant screen, located in that garden, will assure the
transmission of the most important games.
In line with what happened during the Euro 2004, the special highlights
will be aimed at the games of the national selections of Under-21s and
AA.
According to the Faro Council, "there will be various food and
drink tents erected, as well as scaling walls and other leisure and
animation features".
