National Dance Company dancers return to Vale do Lobo Auditorium |
|
On February 25th, back for a second time due to the runaway success of
their first appearance in November 2005, dancers from the National
Dance Company will light up the Vale do Lobo Auditorium with an
enchanting ballet performance. The format of the evening will be similar to the last performance by
these talented young dancers, with a mixed bill of excerpts from
different ballets. However, a completely new repertoire will be
unveiled, to include much-loved classics The Sleeping Beauty and
Paquita...
as well as other international ballets, interspersed with
modern pieces such as Gershwin Dream – promising another delightful and
memorable evening.
The eight young dancers on the bill gained their experience
with different international companies, performing both classical and
modern ballet. They met at the National Dance Company, where they have
taken part in the best-received ballets performed by the company, some
of which toured internationally.
The performance will commence at 21:30 and the Foyer Bar will open for pre-ballet drinks at 21.00.
