Easter 2008 will see the inauguration in Vila Real de Santo António of a new five-star hotel with 600 beds and two golf courses, according to a press release issued by the local authority. The new infrastructure will be integrated in the Quinta da Ria development, in Vila Nova de Cacela.
It represents an investment of more than 50 million euros by the Robinson Group which forms part of the empresarial universe of the World of TUI.

The licence to allow the start of the works was signed last Friday, ending a bureaucratic process of several years, where "the previous Council executive have undeniable responsibilities" emphasises the local authority, now led by the Social Democrat Luís Gomes.
