The University of the Algarve (Ualg) will in the next scholastic year widen its formative offer with the inclusion of post-secondary, non-superior CET - Cursos de Especialização Tecnológica (Courses of Specialised Technology), which aim to confer professional qualifications at level 4.
These courses, in addition to general and scientific training, have a strong technological training and in the work context (work experience).

The students these courses are aimed at are various, emphasising students enrolled in the 12th year, with 10th and 11th years completed, the holders of a professional qualification at level 3, holders of a course of secondary education, the holders of a degree or diploma of superior education who aim to requalify and individuals of over 23 years of age, whose capacities and competencies, with their base of experience, the establishment recognises as qualifying them for ingress.

THe Ualg will be offering in the next scholastic year CETs in diverse areas of training, namely Management, IT, Documentation, Social Action, Communication, Civil Construction, Electronics and Automation, Laborary Analyses, Agriculture and Hortofrutoculture and Garden Projects.

On completion of these courses, the students obtain a diploma of Specialised Technology and can be accepted in a superior course through a special contest.
